Hypnotherapy is not generally provided by the NHS, however, the good news is that in general Clinical Hypnotherapy is a brief solution focused therapy. Therefore the very best results usually take place within three to four sessions, although please bear in mind that more deep rooted or long standing issues could take longer to treat.
That said often significant positive results can take place often within the first couple of sessions, especially if one chooses a knowledgeable plus well trained Hypnotherapist.
In regards to that please see my own professional qualifications and experience here:
As for the NHS, they have produced this web page here, although I do find it somewhat basic. That said it has a very, very important proviso, which is that Hypnotherapy is not statutory regulated in law in the UK.
However, once again, the good news, is that Hypnotherapy is Voluntary Regulated and is Regulated through the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, therefore, as the Website states it is absolutely essential to only choose your Hypnotherapist if they are regulated by the Professional Standards Authority:
Here is the NHS page to check your Hypnotherapist is Regulated:
I am fully Regulated by the Professional Standards Authority, please see more here:
